Universal 10/(18-30) Inlet Adapter, PVDF (Kynar®), 7.0mm Diameter Inlet
Overview:
Universal inlet adapter fits all 10/(18-30) glassware and displays superior chemical and leak resistance.
Made entirely of PVDF (Arkema Kynar®) - exhibits pristine chemical resistance, nuclear radiation resistance, UV radiation resistance, and microbial and fungal growth resistance. High heat resistance up to 150°C.
FDA compliant - Ideal for food, pharmaceutical, and biomedical applications requiring the highest level of quality control. PVDF displays an inert resistance to organic solvents, aliphatic solvents, aromatic solvents, hydrocarbons, halogenated compounds, oxidizers, strong acids, and bases.
The 7.0mm diameter inlet seats thermometers, tubes, and probes with an O.D. between 6 and 7mm. Supplied with a PVDF threaded compression nut and #108 Viton o-ring for inlet sealing. The PVDF compression nut is designed with an external diamond pattern texture to aid in grip. The inlet adapter can double as a septum port by simply replacing the o-ring with a PTFE-lined septum.
